I have a 2001 with a 3.3l V6 and it quit running last night on my way home.I have tried to troubleshoot all the obvious signs of not getting fire but the only thing that I found was the rotor button was not spining when I turned the motor over. What's ya'll's opinon?I forgot to add that the motor has over a 100 thousand miles on it and the timing belt has never been replaced.

well, to confirm timing belt has broke, remove covers and inspect..usually i'll remove the oil cap or valve cover and spin engine over slowly to see if its turning...or you can remove the timing belt covers ..not sure if this is an interference engine or not, if it is,, and the belt did fail, engine damage might be a good possibility also...
i can fix broken, but i cant fix stupid...

It does sound like a timing belt issue.
Unfortunately, Alldata shows the 3.3 liter engine to be an interference engine. I would replace the belt if it is bad and start the engine with the timing cover still removed. If you got real lucky, it may not have bent any valves. If it has bent some valves, you have less to disassemble in order to repair it....

Either the belt broke or the distributor shaft...Most likely the belt. It is a 105,000 mile timing belt interval on that engine, but I have seen a few go. Usually, when they fail, the belt teeth strip off at the crank sprocket area. Supposedly the Nissan engines put in the Quests after 93 were all non-interferance motors and I don't recall ever seeing a VG33E engine bend any valves during my term with Nissan. If you start the engine with the covers off, make sure you intall the harmonic balancer and guide plate, first. I would also suggest replacing the tensioner pulley, cam and crank seals and water pump at this time, if the engine is not damaged. This would require popping the belt back off, however.
