The rear shock are bad,( rusted/leaking).
What brand would remcommend this :
Shocks

Gabriel Ultra Part Number G63422

Does the Bravada have coil springs?

The Bravada is lower at rear, so the shocks are bad right?

bravada should be leaf springs..does it have air ride suspension, they are prone to bad compressors, and leaking lines...check leaf springs make sure they are not cracked as well..., I prefer using Monroe shocks/struts, have been very good to me..., but do a couple check overs first...
i can fix broken, but i cant fix stupid...

I agree with 2000, check the rear leaf springs.
The springs support the weight of the vehicle, not the shock absorbers. The shocks control the amount of bounce.
I also prefer Monroe shocks, have had excellent luck with them.

I never personally used Gabriel so I can't really comment on them. I've used Monroe and KYB. Monroe has three shocks available. Reflex, SensaTrac and GasMatic. The Reflex is the most expensive, the SensaTrac is priced in the middle while the GasMatic is cheapest. Both the Reflex and SensaTrac carry lifetime warranties while the GasMatic is warrantied for one year. The Reflex has the best handling with decent ride comfort, the SensaTrac has decent handling with the best ride comfort while the GasMatic has poor handling and decent ride comfort. Personally I would go with KYB over anything else. I replaced suspension on my '91 Regal GS with Monroe SensaTracs and I found it far too soft, even softer than the OEM suspension. I eventually went back and replaced them with KYB GR2s and the handling was superb and the ride was tight but by no means harsh. My old Regal GS had MacPherson struts up front with Chapman struts and a transverse leafspring in the rear. Before you do anything, as GMCTech2000 mentioned, find out exactly what kind of suspension your Bravada has. If you're unsure take it to the dealer. It also depends on your driving style, but I like to take corners fast.
