Usually when you buy brake pads, you usually get two pairs in a box....someone actually sold you only one pair?

Was the PS rotor turned, or was this a pad slap?

If brake work is done to only one side, this usually causes uneven braking, and could lead to a pull to one side when braking....

As for the brake light, I assume it is the one in the dash? If so, disconnect the brake fluid level sensor.....still on? Disconnect the parking brake switch......Still on? Is ABS light on?

I've never heard of buying brake pads for one side of the car. As TECHII stated, they come in sets for the front or rear of the vehicle....
In addition to TECHII's questions, does the brake pedal feel low, or normal height?

You may also want to make sure that both sides are working properly if there was significantly more wear on one side than the other.

Metalist2,

I never heard of such a thing. Fill us in on what we’re missing here (if anything).

This is what it sounds like to me:

(Quote) I changed the passenger side brake pads.
This tells me that you saved the labor charge by doing the work yourself. Correct?

(Quote) And we didn’t have enough money.
Are you saying that someone actually sold you 2 brake pads instead of 4? blink.gif huh.gif unsure.gif How much money do you think you saved by buying 2 pads instead of 4? blink.gif huh.gif laugh.gif

If the pads on the passenger are worn down more than the pads on the driver’s side, it’s because you have caliper issues on the driver’s side.

Are you sure it’s not the “ABS” light coming on, (if so equipped)

I meant I didn't have enough money to buy two rotors, I just couldn't break the bolts loose on the caliper on the drivers side
Its a red light that comes on in the dash that says BRAKE and wont stop dinging

Metalist2,

Confirm it's not an abs issue. Scan for codes. If not an abs issue, then air got into the system. Find and fix the leak, then bleed the brakes.
